Course Description

About this course

Business English course is customised to listeners of all ages interested in business, marketing and management. The course includes both individual and group teaching. Teaching is conducted entirely in English using innovative and proven methods, allowing students to deepen their knowledge not only in business but also in interdisciplinary subjects in English.

The learning process is carried out in an active question-answer mode. Using the so-called Case Study method. Learners simultaneously improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. They thematically discuss successful business models and try to apply the already learned vocabulary in practice. Discuss grammar issues as needed and perform appropriate exercises. The center offers on-site training for trainees without homework.

Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to improve the listener’s business vocabulary, to give them the skills of discussion, interpersonal communication and persuasive reasoning.

      1. The Case studies are linked to the business topics of each unit. They are based on realistic business problems or situations and allow you to use the language and communication skills you have developed while working through the unit. They give you the opportunity to practise your speaking skills in realistic business situations. Each Case study ends with a writing task.

      2. You will develop essential business communication skills, such as making presentations, taking part in meetings, negotiating, telephoning, and using English in social situations. Each Skills section contains a Useful language box, which provides you with the language you need to carry out the realistic business tasks in the book.

  • You will be focused on common problem areas at intermediate level. You will become more accurate in your use of language. Each unit contains a Language review box which provides a review of key grammar items.

What level of foreign language proficiency do I need to join a Business English course?

In order to be able to join the course and the course is effective for you, you should have at least a B1 level of English.

Can I take just 1 level of the course?

Yes, of course! You can take both levels of the Business English course or just one level, B1 or B2.

What textbooks do you use during the course?

During the learning process, we use Cambridge and Oxford, licensed, high-quality, illustrated literature, prepared by experts in the field.

Are the textbooks used in the course free or priced?

If you decide to study online and do not want to buy the book, we will provide you with the PDF version completely free of charge. The cost of the textbook is 35 GEL, which you can buy at our Language center or at a bookstore

Do I have to pay in advance when registering for the course?

Of course not. You only pay after we have jointly agreed on a study schedule and you have finally agreed to start studying according to the agreed schedule.

How do I pay?

After agreeing on the start of the course, 50% of the full course fee must be paid 1 day before the course starts. The remaining amount must be paid in exactly 1 month. The payment is made in 2 monthly instalments, which are completely interest-free and you do not have to visit the bank to make the payment.

Before making a decision, can I attend a trial lesson?

Yes, of course. Attending a trial lesson takes place after an individual interview, as we need to determine your level of knowledge and offer you a group of the appropriate level. Please note that the lesson is paid and costs 40 GEL. In case you decide to start studying, the amount paid will be deducted from the tuition fee.

Will I get a certificate after completing the course?

Yes, of course. A certificate is issued for any course, from level B1, in case you successfully pass the appropriate level test.
